Abstract
Fluorescent proteins and their applications have transformed the way we observe and understand biological processes, revealing the internal dynamics of proteins in cells and organisms. These fluorescent molecules function as tiny biological lanterns that illuminate cellular and molecular events with previously unattainable clarity. Their application extends from neuroscience and cancer research to biotechnology and agriculture. Thanks to these tools, science can explore what was once invisible and advance toward a deeper understanding of life, opening new avenues for research and medicine.
